Before RapidRadio
IIM Ranchi was a small library in 2010 with automation in place using VTLS Virtua and barcode technology.
Pain Point
IIM Ranchi was looking for RFID automation mainly to overcome staff shortage and also leverage other benefits of implementing RFID with very limited funds.
After RapidRadio
RR has provided IIM Ranchi with an quick start package of RFID including Staff Station, Gate Antenna System & Handheld Device. It helped the library to automate all circulations process thus saving more time for Staff to do other meaningful jobs. We have integrated the RFID system with VTLS Virtua using SIP2 protocol. Surprisingly it is one of our sites who are running the system successfully without AMC and that makes us more happy.
